Danny's Music Reviews
Moravian Village Of Bethlehem

"We are so happy to have Danny Grae with us at Moravian Village. Not only do our residents look forward to Chair Zumba class each week but they also look forward to seeing their dear friend Danny. Each class is lively, interactive, and filled with laughter. Class members get the benefits of exercise and movement in a supportive and positive way.
Beside Danny’s Zumba classes he also performs Second Friday vocal concerts for us several times a year. We enjoy these concerts and Danny’s spirit, vocals, and enthusiasm!"

"Danny Grae has been a blessing to our community. I truly believe it's all about the person's want and desire to do what they do that gives a person the added treasure value to their work ethic, and it is clear that Danny has a passion for what he does. Danny is dearly loved by every single one of our residents in our personal care home. No matter what Danny comes to do for the day, whether it's Chair Zumba, Musical Entertainment, or just a game to please the crowd, he manages to pull even the most difficult of residents out of their rooms with a smile on their face. I am almost afraid of posting such a positive review for the fear of everyone else wanting to hire him and take time away from us! Danny Grae – one of a kind – you heard it here first!"

"Danny comes to our Community about twice a month for Chair Zumba and to entertain as well. Saying the residents love him is an understatement. They adore him! All I have to say to the residents is that Danny is coming and they make sure to be there. He is energetic, funny, talented, and just a joy to be around. We are so lucky that he comes to Heather Glen!"

Personal review from Carole Zarayko (former Managing Director Of All Facility Activities)
I have been a "FAN" for many Years and watched my residents who had no real enjoyment or participation in activities until you hit the scene. You put joy in their heart, movement in their muscles and bones and Laughter in their voices. You lifted their spirits and gave them a reason to leave their rooms, because our Danny was coming. Thank You Danny, you indeed have been assigned a lifetime Mission from God. May God Bless you and Susan with many many years of Joy, and Love you give His Children. From my Heart Thank You 🙏🙏🙏🙏💓💓💖💖💖💝💝

Lounging Around at The Freight Station
As published by Paul Smeltz of THE FORWARDIAN ARTS SOCIETY on July 30th, 2011
The Jacob Stroud Corporation presented Danny Grae and Robbie Kae on Saturday July 30th at The Dreibe Freight Station in Stroudsburg, PA as part of their Music in the Park Series. Numerous fans and well wishers filled the little known McMichaels Park where the train station is presently located along with several individuals who began as passersbies and became listeners as they became drawn in by the musical tones the duo presented. This respectable multitude were treated to a number of tunes performed in a style not unfamiliar to that found in many cabarets and casino lounged environments whose quaintness (in the better sense of the word) entertained them enough to allow them to forego the worries and cares many of us face throughout our weekly ordeals and just have a thoughtless afternoon to enjoy some good music performed well. You’ll find more photographs taken during the concert in the Music in the Park 2011 Gallery at www.facebook.com/forwardian.dude.
Danny Grae’s first major musical influence can be traced back to The “Motown Sound” as he grew up in its place of origin in Detroit, MI. He later performed with his high school choir and performed in all of the school plays for which he was given the “Dramatics Achievement Award.” He later pursued a career in theater but found his true passion was in singing. He then became popular in cabarets but soon discovered a profound love for country which he continues to dedicate the majority of his performances today. Please Explore the Danny Grae Website at www.dannygrae.com to learn more about their musical offerings.
Robbie Kae graduated several years ago from East Stroudsburg University of PA and now performs as a Jazz Guitarist throughout the area. However, he is best known for his work in theater as he has performed in several local productions with some impressive acclaim. More information about Robbie Kae can be found on his website at www.myspace.com/RobinTheGrey.

Jamboree By The Lake 2007
As published by Jayne Craddock of TENNESSEETOURIST.COM August/September 2007
My next surprise was a young man named Danny Grae. Danny is from New York City. When Barbara introduced me I thought, "he is going to be really good or a train wreck." Sawyer Brown is the last country music artist that I remember who wore Converse shoes. I told him up front that this is my first, strictly country music event and he wasn’t fitting the mold.
He grew up in Detroit and was influenced by the sounds of Motown. Then at 19 Danny moved to New York where he studied all types of theater and music in school as well. He performed in popular music cabarets. He told me how one summer day he went to see the “Coal Miners Daughter” and was hooked.
This young man puts on a performance with an almost Elvis quality to his voice. Deep, smooth and rich. Combine that that with the theater back ground and look out. His is the kind of act you expect to see in Branson, MO or at Dollywood. It is a full entertainment act with singing and dancing.
I think Danny has invented his own style, ‘County Cabaret’. If you haven’t guessed by now this part of Jamboree by the Lake was definitely NOT a train wreck. I can’t wait to hear the new C.D. For more information on Danny Grae visit him online @: www.dannygrae.com.

Country Fryed News - Preview CD Review
"An Independent View" as published by Linda Fryer of Country Fryed News September 2000
"The first impression is often the lasting impression", as the old saying goes. I've always believed that, and have approached most of my life based on that philosophy. Well, today, on a quiet Sunday afternoon, a mail truck approached my driveway and stopped. I thought this was kinda odd-"I'm not working, why are they?" I soon found out! As I signed for an Express Overnight Delivery package, I wondered what the heck it was, and WHO the heck could possibly be sending me something so important that it should be in my hands with such immediacy! Now folks, as you know by now, I get a lot of new music every week, and although it's easy to get a little back-logged and behind with my reviews, I ALWAYS take at least one quick listen, before putting a new arrival back in the stack. I mean, who knows, maybe that one could be "THE" one! What is "THE" one, you ask? Well, truth is, I'm darned if I know! I just know that when I hear it, it takes me about 30 seconds to grab a pen and start writing. I don't get many of those-and I get lots of GREAT CD's from talented and promising artists, absolutely! But "THE" one - well it seldom happens, and when it does, and especially if it comes right out of the blue, on a Sunday afternoon, it totally catches me off-guard.
As soon as I heard the first few seconds of track #1, I knew I had something special here, and that it was gonna be GREAT. Danny Grae did NOT disappoint me. He describes this as a 'demo' or 'preview' CD. There are 6 songs on it, and I loved them all. But the "replay" button got the most abuse when I listened to "Loving You Is My Fantasy". Beautiful, Danny!
I'm still trying to define this music "style" in my mind - is it traditional country? Is it Honky-Tonk? Is it Rock-n-Roll, 50's style? The first cut, "30-Day Money Back Guarantee" made me think, immediately, of Elvis Presley. But, "Stop The Mississippi" had a very honky-tonk sound. Then, of course, we had "Till I Get Over You", "Too Many Beds" (which you'll hear on that Stardust label's "Cookin' Country"), and "Round About Midnight". Well, I'm just not sure what its "definition" is. And further more, I don't really CARE! 'Cause this is just one of the most enjoyable CD's I've listened to lately! Danny's smooth and romantic vocals are a pleasure. And the instrumentals are awesome! Diana B, who produced this CD with Danny, certainly knows what she's doing, too! With the exception of "30-Day Money Back Guarantee" (Schnieder/Bulgarelli), she wrote the entire group of songs.
Danny has been working hard on his career, and it shows. He's won all kinds of awards, including AIRPLAY INTERNATIONAL'S 1999 "International Rising Male Artist Of The Year". He performs often, in and around the NYC night clubs and cabarets to fine-tune his talent, and has enjoyed a TON of airplay internationally. Of course, on the National level, he's always working harder to get more radio exposure...and who can blame him? It's hard to believe U.S. radio hasn't played more of this guy's stuff-but hey-we all know THAT story, don't we.
Danny Grae, who I first heard on the Stardust label's compilation "Cookin' Country" album, (he tells me that Colonel Buster Doss, who owns Stardust, has quite possibly been responsible for his smooth transition into country music, and he speaks very highly of the Colonel) is a truly superior vocalist. I haven't yet seen him perform, but my guess is he keeps the audience's attention! This is one very cool dude. And hey, he's not too hard on the eyes, either! (smile)
Now, kids, I'm going back into my office, turn on the computer, and get this review rollin'! First impressions? Don't EVER let anyone tell you they don't count. Danny Grae found a unique way to get my attention, AND to make a very fine and LASTING impression. He's got the right idea, and the right stuff! AND, btw, he just happens to be VERY VERY talented!
Now, how's that for..."an independent view"?
